Parang La is one of the wildest and harshest trans-Himalayan crossover treks in India. Starting from the high villages of Spiti and ending on the shores of Tso Moriri Lake in Ladakh, this expedition involves river crossings, glacier walks, featureless plains, and a massive pass crossing at 5,600m.
It follows an ancient trade route used by Changpa nomads, making it both culturally and geographically unique.
This trek is for experienced trekkers who have already completed multiple high-altitude trails.

2. Day-Wise Full Itinerary
DAY 1 — Kaza → Kibber → Dumla (Trek)
Drive from Kaza to Kibber (4,200m)
Trek begins with a descent to Dumla
Trek Duration: 3–4 hrs
DAY 2 — Dumla → Thaltak
Steep ascent to Thaltak meadow
Beautiful campsite surrounded by cliffs
Trek Duration: 5–6 hrs
DAY 3 — Thaltak → Borochin → Base Camp
Cross deep gorges and high plateaus
Reach Parang La base camp
Trek Duration: 6–7 hrs
DAY 4 — Base Camp → Parang La (~5,600m) → Karsha Gongma
Early morning ascent to the pass
