2. Day-Wise Full Itinerary

DAY 1 — Rishikesh → Badrinath (Drive)

  • Long scenic drive via Devprayag, Rudraprayag & Joshimath

  • Optional evening visit to Badrinath Temple

  • Overnight stay in Badrinath

DAY 2 — Badrinath → Mana → Laxmi Van

  • Drive to Mana (India’s last village)

  • Trek begins along Saraswati River

  • Gradual ascent through boulders & forest patches

  • Trek Duration: 4–5 hrs

DAY 3 — Laxmi Van → Chakratirtha

  • Steep ascent with views of Neelkanth and Chaukhamba

  • Trail enters alpine zone

  • Campsite at Chakratirtha is a massive glacial basin

DAY 4 — Chakratirtha → Satopanth Tal → Return to Chakratirtha

DAY 5 — Chakratirtha → Mana → Badrinath

  • Full descent to Mana Village
